The Opera singer was supposed to appear at the Bolshoi theatre. Dmitri Hvorostovsky is struggling with a brain tumor. Because cycles of chemotherapy, the artist was forced several times to cancel their performances.

Fans of the Opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky are closely watching news about his health in the fight against brain tumor. However, many had hoped to see the famous actor in a new production of “don Carlos”, which was supposed to go on stage of the Bolshoi theatre. The premiere is scheduled for 7 and 10 December, however, Dmitry is not going to fulfill his party’s state of health.

“The long-awaited speech Hvorostovsky at the Bolshoi theater, unfortunately, will not take place due to illness of the singer”, – reported in the environment of the artist.

Not so long ago, the famous Opera singer was also forced to cancel its participation in the production of “Simon Boccanegra” in Vienna because of ill health. Fans were sympathetic to his situation. Hvorostovsky was optimistic and was looking forward to concerts in Germany and abroad.

Opera singer tries to make his little children did not know that he is struggling with the disease. He was glad that the whole family supports him, so he finds the strength to resist severe illness. “All of your burdens and fears I shared with Flosey. She behaved heroically. And not giving the slightest look. And not in Russian: “Oh, you poor, poor thing, Oh, Oh…” Nothing like, everything was just positive, fun. When I feel bad, I was left alone. Me a little better, just organized something that brings joy. The most horrible three months of my treatment became almost a time strong unity of our family. And in the worst moments, I looked at the kids, wife, and felt that I just couldn’t resist myself. I have to get out,” said the actor in an interview.

I must say that Opera in the Bolshoi theatre will take place only with the participation of other artists. As reported TASS, the role of Elizabeth of Valois will be performed by Hibla Gerzmava, in the role of Princess Eboli will be released Ekaterina Gubanova and Ildar Abdrazakov will appear on the scene in the form of Philip II, king of Spain. Hvorostovsky also had to fulfill one of the main parties – Rodrigo.
