The world premiere of the movie “Zeropolis” was held in March last year. Animated detective, the production of which was engaged in Disney and directed by Brian Howard from the first frame drew spectators, thanks to which managed to earn over one billion dollars in worldwide box office (thereby taking a place in the top five highest-grossing animated films in cinema history).
The author of the script “Zeropolis” was Jared Bush, but Hollywood screenwriter Gary Goldman (“total Recall”) do not agree.
Goldman says that the cartoon was used dialogues and moves that were previously created by it.
In their submissions, Gary relies on his notes 2000 and 2009 years, which included dialogue, plot twists and different characters that Dinsey then rejected, but later used in “Zeropolis”.
Dsney did not remain silent and expressed his opinion about the actions of Goldman. The Studio believes that “it is an unprincipled attempt to lay claim on the cash register tapes that he did not create”.
The details of the case still to be clarified by the lawyers, and in the meantime we recall that the “Zeropolis” in addition to the huge box office received many awards, including the statuette “Oscar” as “Best animated feature film”, award, British Academy Children’s Awards, Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, Golden globe, etc.
