“The film Director Andrei Zvyagintsev and producers Alexander Rodnyansky and Sergey Melkumov “Dislike” claims by three awards of the European film Academy (European Film Academy, EFA). The picture was among five nominees in the categories “Best European film, Best European Director and Best European script.”

Along with the movie “Dislike” in the category “Best European” scenario are the yorgos of lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou (“Killing a sacred deer”), Ruben Östlund (“Square”), Francois Ozon (“Franz”) and Ildiko Eneidi (“body and soul”). In the category “Best European Director” presented, Ildiko Eneidi, Aki Kaurismaki, yorgos of lanthimos and Ruben Östlund. The European Academy of film taken behind the scenes is a European analogue of “Oscar”. The 30th anniversary edition of the award ceremony will be held on December 9 in Berlin.

Most recently, on October 14, the “Dislike” won the Main prize of the 61st London international film festival (BFI London Film Festival). “To date, the European film Academy, more than three thousand members, who participate in the voting and determine the winners, says the film’s producer Alexander Rodnyansky. – To be selected from hundreds of films among the five nominees is certainly a great honor for the film and for us, its creators.”

World premiere of the film “Dislike” was held in the main competition program of the jubilee of the 70-th Cannes international film festival where the film was awarded the jury Prize. Also, according to the results of the festival “Dislike” received the highest scores from the jury of the international critics of the magazine Screen International. In addition, the film won the Grand Prix at the international festival in Munich. 21 September 2017 the Russian Oscar Committee has put forward from the Russian film “Dislike” on the award of American film Academy in a nomination “the Best foreign language film”.

The film “Hate” tells the story of modern Moscow family, is experiencing a severe, painful divorce. The main characters (Jack and Boris) – even spouses, but each of them has actually started a new Chapter in life, and because they can’t wait to do away with the formalities and divorce. In a series of endless conflicts and mutual claims, Eugene and Boris neglect their only child, 12-year-old Alyosha, who feels the absolute uselessness of both parents. Suddenly, after another quarrel, he disappears.
