We regret to inform fans teleepopei “Star wars” that on 94-year of life died actor Eric Bauersfeld, who voiced Admiral Ackbar in “Star wars”.

The artist rested in the Bose at his home in Berkeley, California, on Sunday 3 April. Representative Eric Derek Maki confirmed to reporters this information.

“Actor Eric Bauersfeld, whose voice sounded from the lips of Admiral Ackbar in “Star wars”, left this world. He died at the age of 93 of natural causes. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends” — said in a statement.

The majority of spectators know the actor in the film “Star wars. Episode VI: return of the Jedi” (1983), where he voiced Admiral Ackbar, as well as on the seventh episode of the space Saga “Star wars: the Force Awakening” (2015).
