The famous pianist revealed the details of his personal life.

In November last year, Denis Matsuev became a father. Prima ballerina of the Bolshoi theatre Catherine Shipulina gave the musician daughter. But because the musician has the habit to comment on his personal life, until recently, was not known even the name of the baby. And that’s before aired edition of the show “Evening Urgant”, where the pianist has finally revealed the details of the birth of first child.

Denis, shining with happiness, confirmed that he does have a daughter, who was given the name Anna! A musician with great pleasure told about it. According to Matsuev, Anna Denisovna, as he calls it, is definitely viewed makings of a musical ear.

The daughter of a pianist, of course, growing in an environment impregnated with classical music. Denis plays for her many works of the great composers and she already has a particular favorite: “Played for her and Tchaikovsky, and Rachmaninov, and even Prokofiev. But her favourite piece — “Parsley” Stravinsky. The work, by the way! It is not like the second Concerto Sheet…” of Course, to say that she like and no Anna not yet. So Matthew focuses on her reaction. Favorite music she holds his hand and utters a joyful “shout”.

Despite the hectic schedule of performances over the past year alone Dennis gave 248 concerts, the pianist always finds some time for his beloved daughter. Even when he has only an hour of free time, he definitely tries to spend these moments with Anna.
