Ilane — the one who was able to conquer Hollywood, and now she works as a TV presenter on one of the most famous TV channels in Russia – “Europa Plus TV”. About how she became a star and the difficulties faced Alania said in our interview.

Ilenia how it happened that you were in Los Angeles?

For the first time my foot stepped on the second home more than 15 years ago. However, I still can not believe that I was living in Los Angeles, although having the citizenship of this country. I’m always homesick for his native Odessa. Thought at first that it’s all about the habit. Move, and then will love the new place, but no, I’m still drawn back home, because there, my friends and family.
America adopted me, as the evil stepmother. In the first month of stay in this country, every night ended with the thought: “Everything! Tomorrow we get up and buy a ticket home and fly back immediately”. But morning came, my head new ideas for improvement here, for example, made a son in school, unlike me, he liked America more. Probably because America, as many say, the country of pioneers and retirees.
For a short time or even having a license, I miraculously got a job as a manicurist in Russian, the cabin, and there in practice and learned how to do a pedicure. At first it was very difficult, but I managed. After all other options were not. But the work in the Russian interior, I had the opportunity to get acquainted with almost the entire Russian Diaspora, with some still in touch. But, unfortunately, earn enough money only for travel and food.
And what to do next, how to live, what to pay the rent? Here are some questions plagued me from month to month. And that I’m not even talking about how much it costs, for example, service in hospital my son if he got sick. Besides, as it turned out, my six year old son had to also work permits, which also cost me money then incredible. In this work, my child was only 14 years old!
So I found another job was delivering pizza. In the evening I finished to do a manicure and went with his son around the city with a delivery before midnight.
Torn between work and raising a child, I somehow still managed to go for auditions in movies. That’s why I came here. I always wanted to star in a Hollywood movie.

How did you become an actress?

I went to all sorts of auditions, graduated from new York school of Academy of art, graduated from the school of Vera Kholodnaya at the Studio, and many other courses. The teachers always paid attention to me: it is abused, praised. The lesson begins with me, with me “filmed the clips”. Perhaps the teachers have given me some hope. In any case, I’m very lucky.

What did you have to learn for the movie?

The teachers have given me what they themselves can do. For example, the ability to talk to the person, in particular, heart to heart. I actually appreciate a person’s soul in the first place. Moscow – a bit cold city and there are a few closed people. Odessa and Los Angeles over the Sunny city. However, you cannot change the world, you can only change yourself.
Teachers taught me to stop being afraid of cameras. Now, when I look at my first shooting, then see how I fear looked at the camera. At the moment, I mean more natural, interviewing actors and artists. With celebrities I always communicated in plain language like ordinary people. We were never a barrier. I never idealized and not praised. You know, artists and public people hate that.
