Galina Volchek said the unique anniversary. 45 years ago after leaving the Moscow art theatre Oleg Efremov, she headed the theater “Contemporary”. Such a long and extremely successful period among chubrukov theatre is a rare example. Although, as recognized in recital on the occasion of the anniversary itself Volchek, at first she refused to take this post. And only the entreaties of friends, colleagues and experiences for the future of native theatre forced her to take this step.

Recital Volchek was held in a very warm, family atmosphere. The fact that Galina had planned a modest event in the format of “meeting with the audience.” But there was a lot of the actors of the troupe. which also made room in honor of the beloved Volchek.

The most touching moment of the anniversary was an unplanned onstage daughter Svetlana Ivanova Polina. The girl sat with her mother in the hall, But at some point I could not resist, ran on stage and embraced Volchek. “This is our angel, with tears in her eyes, stroked her on the head with Galina. — Children under five years, all the angels… we Have a “contemporary” actor’s children grow up behind the scenes from the cradle!” And in the final Pauline along with her mother and other actors of the troupe sang three songs.
