How did the idea to participate in the show “the Voice”?
It so happened that around me I have so many people who constantly told that I need to try yourself in the “Voice”. My friends, the team that I work with in the group “Slot”, I literally took the hand on the casting couch and watched, so I couldn’t run. Selection was long and boring, but overall good. Initially I wanted to sing a neutral song, but sang it exactly three seconds. At the casting, apparently I found out and asked him not to pretend and show everyone what I’m capable of. After that, I sang a powerful song and then I was told that I pass on. And when he realized he was in a strange place for themselves, to have fun and misbehave. —
How much are you willing to experiment in the show?
I went to Grigory Leps, because it does not impose anything. At this stage I feel free – she choose what to sing, what to go on stage. I don’t have any restrictions, and if you look through the photos, I they are not you can always learn. At this stage I want to be myself. I’m not here to entertain the people, although want to cheer up the audience. However, I’m not going to wear a ball gown, as was said by Leps the “blind audition”.—
Were you surprised when the jury turned to you?
I had only one goal – to Leps turned, I thought. All day the coaches listened to vanilla, cloying songs, afraid that even his song I will not Wake up!

How would you have done if Grigory Leps you were not selected?

I don’t read, but some idea of what’s going on. Don’t want to waste time, emotions, people will understand, it will be interesting to argue. That’s their problem.—
You are a successful rock singer, so why do you need this project?
I will not be shy, my participation has educational purpose. Worldwide rock music is mainstream, and we still do not understand and are afraid. Would like to see a wider audience looked at it with different eyes.

Why did you decide to sing that rock music?
Rock music is what is born, is by nature. And generally my voice, tone, way of speaking, like singing is something innate. And alternative rock just happened, he brought me, not possible that could be something else, but also from this direction. In 15 years I suspected that, perhaps, is mine. Mom accepted my decision and supported. —
You have an alias Nuka. Why did you decide to call yourself that?
It was long ago, and nobody remembers – just a proper name. In the “Slot” it so happened that everyone in the band had nicknames, this was due to the forums on the Internet. When I came to group, I have no alias, and somehow stuck “Nuka”. —
Why did you decide to sing solo?
I have a lot of emotions, feelings, worldviews that don’t fit the “Slot”. When I got to the team, it already existed two years, has formed a concept. I also separate creative personality, and I want to share my thoughts.

A couple of years ago, unknown persons slashed you with a knife to the throat. You went to the hospital, and soon returned to the stage. The outcome of that accident for the assailant?
He found schizophrenia, he is now in a psychiatric hospital. There was an investigation, managed to find some emails that I sent. When I started receiving those letters, I gave them values that were sent to spam. Before the incident, a fan sent a screenshot where he tried to warn you that someone is preparing an attack on me. Someone from the guys in the group saw it, but laughed at and not taken seriously. As it turned out, unknown wrote 10-20 letters a day. And some were these words: “see you in another life”. —
How this situation affected you?
Oddly enough, I didn’t hire bodyguards. I have a self-preservation instinct decreased, many things I stopped being afraid. Can now tell people the harsh truth, for example. After the incident, I wrote a second solo album, we are proud of. So this situation has affected me more positively. But my family began to try to do so that one of them was always close. I even started to get tired, I was not going to get the feelings of loneliness.
