Actress Ingeborga Dapkunayte became the guests of the press-the conference devoted to a unique musical event — the tour of the most famous Italian theatre La Scala at the Bolshoi theatre. “When I was in Milan, not just passed by the building “La Scala”. Main Italian Opera house, whose name, incidentally, translates simply as “ladder”, not for the first time comes to Moscow since 1964. And each time these performances have become an event. After all in them participated the most and the best singers (for example, Luciano Pavarotti), and conductors (Herbert Von Karajan, Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Muti).

The current presentation “La Scala” in Moscow, which will be held in September, will be the beginning of a long-term partnership of the Bolshoi theatre and the Open arts festival “Chereshnevy Les” organized by Bosco di Ciliegi company. The tour will last the whole week. In addition to Verdi’s “Simon Boccanegra”, which the composer wrote largely based on the “La Scala”, in the poster there is also a concert of Italian music and “Requiem” by Verdi, which is considered to be the musical trademark of “La Scala”.
