Vyacheslav Zaitsev has already earned the title of icon of Russian fashion. On account of his countless prestigious design awards, collaborations with global celebrities, as well as the recognition of peers. But in the main Museum of the country until today, his creations have never been exhibited.

According to the Zaitsev, the idea of this exhibition was on fire the Director of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky, who, by the way, with future plans to create a Museum of costume.

“With the agreement of Mikhail Borisovich, I began to pick up clothes that would have been interesting to the audience”, – shared his impressions of birds. “The exhibition presents a variety of suits for my thirty years of activity”.

“Artists of the XIX century asked: “What will be the fashion in the twentieth century?” So now I am constantly asked: “What will be the fashion of the XXI century?” Although I am a supporter of the classical style, in my opinion, it will be relaxed – there will be many different models of mixing styles, there will be more openness, beauty. The world is changing – fashion changed, everything is natural” – says the famous designer.
