Belarusian musicians, Y. Poplavskaya (D. R. 01.05.1949) and Alexander Tikhanovich (1952 — 2017) met at the Conservatory of Minsk. Joint work in the famous musical group Veras brought together young artists and in 1975 they married. Born Jadwiga K. Poplavskaya in the 1949 may day. Her mother, Stephanie p. (1920 -2018) and father of Constantine I. (1912-1984) Poplawski was committed to music. Dad Jadwiga was the honored worker of arts of Belarus, conductor, renowned conductor and folklorist. Therefore, the three children of Poplawski connected his life with music.

Alexander Tikhanovich after graduating from the Suvorov military school, where he loved playing music, received one of the best conservatories of Belarus. He studied at the Department of wind instruments. A. T. began working at the Veras group, two years after its formation, and in 1975 they Jadwiga Konstantinovna, who was the organizer and soul of the vocal-instrumental ensemble, decided to create not only creative, but also the family Union.

Jadwiga worked as a musician, soloist, in addition, it is engaged with the arrangement of songs. Alexander played beautifully on the trumpet or the guitar, and has been instrumental soloist of the ensemble. His talent was manifested in the cinema: Alexander G. acted in the lead role the film “Apple moon”. In 1991, J. K. Poplavskaya and Tikhanovich A. G. was awarded honorary title of Honoured artists of Belarus.
