Finally we waited for the reaction of musician Bob Dylan to the awarding of the Nobel prize in literature “For the creation of a new poetic expression in the American song tradition”, which became known on October 13.
As reported by Swedish newspaper the Local, citing sources from the Swedish Academy, the singer refused to come to the presentation, referring to strong employment. Dylan complained that it is very busy and for this reason will not be able to receive such an important award.
The award ceremony will be held in Stockholm on 10 December. The only condition to get for Bob will be compulsory reading lectures at the Swedish Academy for the next six months. Hopefully, in six months, the musician will find in your busy schedule window for this.
Recall that before Dylan refused to personally receive the award three winners: Doris Lessing, Harold Pinter and Elfriede Jelinek.
