This year is significant for the famous glossy magazine Harper’s Bazaar, which celebrates its 150th anniversary.

Anniversary issue dedicated to the actress angelina Jolie who starred in an unusual photo shoot and raised the important issue of women’s role in modern society.

“When I was asked to write this letter, timed to the anniversary issue of Harper’s Bazaar, I imagined the girl reading it 150 years ago, when people rarely lived to 50, and women could never have the opportunity of higher education and especially about a career. What if she saw us modern women today? Could we inspire them by your example? If Yes, then I think that the course of history could be changed for the better, raising the question of women’s rights previously,” – says Jolie.
