TV host and chief editor of the project “StarHit” received an honorary award for excellence. Andrey Malakhov thanked those who believed in him and the team, thanks to which managed to achieve success.
On Monday, chief editor of the project “StarHit” and host of “live” Andrey Malakhov appeared at the ceremony of the Gold medal name of the master journalism educator of the Lion of Nikolaev. A momentous event took place at the state Museum of fine arts Pushkin. The main reason of the evening was the awarding of people who have made a significant contribution to education, promoting of achievements of science and culture. The Director of the Department of information and press of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova handed to Andrey Malakhov medal for professionalism in journalism.
“You have to embody entirely new genre of television in our country, – said Zakharov. – This is a terrible genre, a genre very dangerous, very evil and very good genre, a genre that can save, can elevate or to crush”.
Receiving the coveted award, Andrei Malakhov said acceptance speech.
“I am very pleased that my achievements in journalism was appreciated, I only hope not for the frequent mention of the Internet jokes leading. – I am grateful to everyone who believed in me and my team from the beginning of my career. I wish that all people were the teachers who believe and stretched helping hands”.
Also at the ceremony were assessed the merits of the Director of the Pushkin Museum Marina Loshak, doctor of jurisprudence Anatoly Kucherena, Director of the Central puppet theatre named after Sergei Obraztsov Irina Koschevnikovi, scientific head of the Laboratory of nuclear reactions behalf of GN Flerov Yuri Oganessian.
“Honestly, I wasn’t always an active citizen, sometimes lazy to read books, but was always drawn to knowledge, – says Anatoly Kucherena. – I just helped transfer the Lion of Nikolaev who in his own words “seduced by knowledge.” I promise with dignity to carry this award and to instruct their students to watch educational films “Civilization”.
Guests of the celebration were listening to live music and enjoyed the buffet, which was organized at the end of the evening.
