Andrey Makarevich settled in Israel for a long time, so you have to adapt to life in a new country.
In a recent interview for the Israeli portal Vesti, he admitted that he still does not feel like a real Israeli because of his poor knowledge of the language.
“If I had taken it twenty years ago, I would have spoken easily and fluently,” – complained Makarevich, but, one must think, twenty years ago he was not going to live in Israel yet.
Well, for the recently born son Eitan, this is already the Motherland. True, Makarevich wants the boy to speak two languages. Since he and his wife communicate in Russian, the first language for him will be Russian, but from the age of 3-4 he, of course, will begin to study Hebrew.
