Kinoklassika creates an experimental workshop.

Andrei Sergeevich Konchalovsky for many years
not once approached with offers to engage in educational activities. And
not only as a filmmaker but as a theatrical Director.

Recall that Konchalovsky since the mid 80-ies,
parallel to the filming of movies, put on plays on the stages of domestic and
foreign theatres. Among them — “the Seagull” in Paris “Odeon”, “Eugene Onegin”
and the Queen of spades at La Scala and the Paris Bastille, three versions of Prokofiev’s Opera
“War and peace” at the Mariinsky theatre in St. Petersburg and others. And in 2004
year Konchalovsky at the Theater of the Moscow city Council opened a series of Chekhov plays
the production of “the Seagull”, and subsequently released “Uncle Vanya”, “Three sisters” and “Cherry
garden.”

And finally, this year, the mater will be the first students — future students of GITIS (RATI). According to the rector of the Institute Gregory
Zaslavsky, Andrei Sergeevich gaining an experimental workshop, where
at the same time will be trained actors, Directors and, possibly, criticism. Create
of course Konchalovsky has already supported well-known businessman Alisher Usmanov.
