Yesterday, July 21, in the heart of the capital was held the annual excitement of the competition among classical cars, which is supported by the Bosco di Ciliegi. For the fifth time near the red square held a “parade”, which could see a completely unique retro-cars.

This year in the competition, which is supported by
Automotive historical society of Gorkyclassic, the oldest watch
factory Vacheron Constantin and
car company Jaguar Land Rover,
participated 126 crews. More than one hundred rare GAZ, ZIS,
ZIL, “Moskvich” and “Zaporozhets” went with the red square in the one hundred km
mileage through the most significant historical places of the capital.

The event attracts the attention of stars, indifferent to the Soviet automotive industry, 1930-1970. the GUM Rally called for: Sergey Shakurov, Evelina Khromchenko, Ekaterina Mtsituridze, Alexei Nemov with his family, Alexander Oleshko, and others. “I was born in Togliatti, and my very first car was Oka that
was designed at the Volga automobile plant, the nostalgia Alexei Nemov. Parties of the GUM rally
wish to receive weight of positive emotions on the course and show excellent
the result at the finish line!” The athlete, by the way, came on the feast of the Gum not alone, but with wife Galina and his youngest son Dmitry.

“My first car was “Lada” three rubles, I
perfectly remember her. Then it seemed even better than six. I was
for about thirty years, on this machine I earned myself – starred in one picture and
immediately bought a car. And, I went to the machine prepared for
some of our foreign embassies. I loved her very much, she was bright yellow
colors like egg yolk” laughed Sergey Shakurov.

Alexander Oleshko also has some warm childhood memories of the car. “Cars of the Soviet era – it was the smell of diesel fuel, gasoline, which
it seemed very tasty for some reason. And sounds: gears, horn,
and in the taxi is a meter and the green light” — explained the actor.

Later authoritative jury determined the winners in special nominations and
winners on sports results. Their names were called during
the ceremony at the New Tretyakov gallery on the Crimean Shaft: they got
sets boscofresh outfit, gifts from Landrover, Etro and
gift certificates from Articoli by BOSCO and maps of friends of the Tretyakov
gallery. The winners of the primary sports competition, Cup Gum, were: third place the Crew of No. 62: Yuri Pripachkin and Sergey Makarenko on the “Volga”
GAZ-M-21, 1961. The second place Crew No. 54: Paul Sereda and Vadim Schneider on the Volga GAZ-M-21
1960. And first, unique, new Cup excitement and the Grand prize from
Vacheron Constantin went – unbelievable, but true! The main prize went to
again, just like last year, the crew №1:
Andrey Morozenko and Boris Kostyrko in “the Seagull” GAZ-13. Each of them received in
the award for 1st place watch of Vacheron Constantin from the hands of Nicolas Defler.
