Watch is an accessory that can decorate any room, especially for those who are always late. Create a wall clock is not so difficult, you just have to include imagination and good taste. In addition, the finished clock mechanism easy to buy in any store, with emphasis on original design. To create hours with their hands we will need:
- Wooden Hoop
- Felt
- Wooden buttons
- Wooden decor
- Cardboard
- Len
- Clockwork
- Adhesive Thermopylae
Watch from scrap materials
To start take the most ordinary hoops and put them in the felt.
We chose a felt chocolate brown to emphasize the natural texture of the frame and highlight the buttons that will become substitute figures.
Now cut out a circle of cardboard, which will become the back of our watches.
Cut the cardboard with a linen cloth. Wrap the edges and glue to the back of the cardboard.
Put the lid in the middle of the Hoop and fix with glue.
With a ruler to note the middle and make a hole for the clock mechanism.
The hole should be exactly in the center of the circle.
Then placed large buttons that will symbolize the numbers: 12, 3, 6, 9.
Take small shank buttons.
And place them between the large at the same distance.
Between large two small buttons, respectively: 1-2, 4-5, 10-11.
Between 6 and 9 place a decor in the form of a wooden slogan: “All the best”. Or any other on your taste.
Glue decor using termoizolat.
Next, take the clock mechanism and insert it into our watches.
Close the top arrows in the correct order.
Important: the arrows were high enough in the hours, they did not touch the buttons and decor!
So from just a wooden frame we made intimate and original timepiece for the home.
Now the watch is ready for use, it remains to insert the battery and place them on a suitable wall!
