Last week ended the show vocal show “Success”. One of its participants was 28-year-old Irina Bohanovsky. Aspiring singer with nine years of struggling with malignant education with Ewing’s sarcoma. The first time it made itself felt, when Irene was nine. Then the disease was able to overcome, but a few years later, a relapse occurred. In 2016 the girl underwent surgery to remove metastase and chemotherapy in Moscow.

How do you feel now?
While stable. I went to the survey in Israel, because in Russia there is no such technology which could help me. Disease all the time comes back in a new place. Our doctors say they can treat me only in the old scheme. In the future I will have chemotherapy. I plan to lie in Moscow, but treated foreign drugs. Around the end of January, I may have to return to Israel to undergo radiation, if the tumor will not go away. They only make it in this country, it costs about 30 thousand dollars. —
What do the doctors?
Bad. In the childhood I have been treated, went to Israel, but then the sarcoma returned. I lived for more than ten years thinking that I will no longer hurt, but last year the same thing happened in a new form – I have found a huge tumor in his lung. Then I decided not to go abroad, remained in Moscow. But the treatment, as I now understand, were unsuccessful. I removed the part of some on. In Russia in General such methods, and there’s not much chemistry, although I have observed in the really good hospitals. So I had to leave. Part of the amount has been collected, but it is not enough. In Israel everything is very expensive.—

No, except for one thing. I felt severe pain in her lung, so messed up on painkillers. Took them before going on stage. Don’t know what it would do to me if I stayed on the project. Then I realized that I have something growing in the lung and presses on it. And the show had to sing and dance, my condition was very difficult. I was worried, when he participated in the project, but, as practice shows, all is going well. What did you gain from participation in the project?
Some impetus. My request was responded to more people than ever before. Audience reach has become wider. Many worried about me, and not just friends who came to me after seeing the show on TV. It gives me strength.—

What were you doing before the project? You’re not only a singer but also a teacher?
I worked a lot… Day taught, preparing the young artists and worked on a large project, the evening went to the courses stylists, in some days learned to sew. I also played with other musicians in restaurants and clubs. In short, I had a flurry of activity. —
You have started too late to study music in 20 years. What was the impetus?
Actually, I’ve always had a predisposition to it. In my childhood I sang, I even thought about going to music school. But when I got sick in nine years, I was not up to it. Then came high school, there was other things to do. At the Institute, I decided to try myself in singing. When just beginning, it turned out not very good, but nature still took its toll. Entered music school to develop their skills. I consider myself a good singer, though I sing through a lot of pain.—
Do you have any favorite artists?
I prefer not popular, and distinctive Russian artists with their personal creativity – Tina Kuznetsova, Mike Gitovu… From foreign I like mostly men, which have become a kind of classic, – sting, Brian Adams. —
The music gives you strength?
Of course. For her sake I am ready to overcome himself, to anybody and could not think that I don’t feel good. Now, unfortunately, had to postpone all Affairs. What did you feel when you first heard about the diagnosis?
I was very young and thought that all kids go through this, took the diagnosis in stride. 15, when again repeated illness, I thought it was a continuation of his case. How were you treated by classmates? Trying to support?

Every day you communicate with parents?
Yes, I have a very strong bond with mom and dad, if not for their help, it would be very hard. The parents of my students also try to maintain – regularly asking how I was doing, asking that I reported on every step of the way. They expect me to come back and continue to work with children.—
All medical procedures are very expensive…
I knew that are at risk, so something happened to postpone it. I was born in an ordinary family: father is a driver, mother is a housewife. Sometimes it works, but now focused on taking care of me. Friends help, friends of friends. Now we are looking for funds, this process takes two of my very good friends. If it turns out that the collected funds is not required, it will redirect them to help others.

Approximately how much time can take the treatment process?
From six months to a year and about a month to recover, to begin to move on their own. Now it’s hard for me, I walk with a stick. I’ll probably lie in a hospital bed until the summer of 2018. Unlikely to succeed for a long time to sit idle, I plan to start working on a solo program and to write a motivational song. The only thing I need is power and a little time.—
