The opening of the retrospective of Yuri Lyubimov
took place on April 24
the cinema “Illusion”. Special guests of the evening were Katalin
Lyubimov, chief inspirer of the Grand ceremony of the project “Age
Lyubimov,” in honor of the 100th anniversary of Yury Trutnev, and also the people’s artist of the USSR
actress Julia Borisova. In 1956, together with Lyubimov and other famous
actors of the Vakhtangov Theatre they starred in the play “Much ADO about
nothing.” Since the film never was shown on the big screen, and
specially for this anniversary too, it had to see a special
of the Commission on quality in order to assess the integrity of the film. Fortunately, over 6
decades, the film is perfectly preserved, and the audience fully managed
to appreciate the brilliant play of actors of the Golden era of the Vakhtangov theatre.
Before the show Julia Borisova willing to answer questions from the audience, more
all, of course, everyone wondered how she manages to keep such
beauty at the age of 92 years.
“My beauty secret you will not work, — said Yulia Borisova. — I
never been in any beauty parlor, not doing exercises, although now
can easily get to the floor and do a somersault. Don’t believe? Here! — said people’s artist and easily got
hands to the floor, even standing
heels. But I always use very expensive cosmetics,
and choose only those brands that as I passed the test
time. For example, I love Chanel and Dior. I still play

25 April within the framework of the retrospective of Yuri Lyubimov in the “Illusion”
will be shown scenes from films in which in different years was filmed
Yuri Petrovich Lyubimov: kinonovell “the Swineherd” (1941), the first
a stereo movie, “Robinson Crusoe” (1947, excerpt), “Kuban Cossacks”
(1949, not included scene), “On the stage of the scene” (1956, excerpt),
“Cain XVIII” (1965, fragment). The leader of evening — senior curator
