In 06:32 Julia was released on bail in the amount of five thousand dollars.

“I can confirm that on 30 December 2017 police Department Redondo beach (California) arrested a woman named Yuliya Efimova,” – quoted the press officer of knight.
Reporters contacted the athlete, who is currently training hard. Yuliya Efimova was quick to reassure the public and said that she was all right. However, she did not explicitly comment on the incident. The swimmer also made it clear that the information about her arrest in the United States occurred last year, could be an attempt of stuffing.

The girl was involved in a doping scandal, and was subjected to harassment from peers.
