Natalia Vodianova, Elena Zakharova, Natalya Lesnikovskaya, Olga Orlova, Andrey Fomin, Jurata Gurauskaite were the first guests of the exhibition of Museums of Qatar “Pearls: treasures of the seas and rivers”, which opened at the State historical Museum.
World famous
collection pearl Museum of Qatar arrived in Moscow in the framework of the cross Year of culture
Qatar and Russia 2018. The exhibition presents a hundred of exhibits, including fifty previously
exhibited products made of freshwater pearls of Central Asia and Russia.

The exhibition provides a rare
the opportunity to learn about how for centuries, pearls were collected to see different types of pearls, but also one of the most beautiful collections of jewelry
products.
The exhibits selected by the curator of the exhibition, the famous
expert on pearls by Dr. Hubert Bari worldwide, including countries
Persian Gulf, Europe and Asia.

The first traveling exhibition to Museums
Qatar is the sixth time travels to other countries. She previously exhibited in the Victoria and albert Museum in London, as well as in China, Japan,
Brazil and Turkey.
In Moscow, for the General public the exhibition will be opened on
1 Oct.
