Oscar-winning Director Vladimir Menshov became the hero of the new year program of First channel “Honestly Yuri Nikolayev”. Conversation on the terrace for tea at the dacha of Vladimir Valentinovich turned out to be extremely sincere and genuine. Menshov, in particular, recalled the period when he met his future wife, actress Vera Alentova. They studied on the same course theatre of the University.

For some time the young people were just friends, and then began their romance. The period of courtship was rather short, but their family life has lasted for more than half a century. A few years ago Vera Alentova and Vladimir Menshov celebrated their Golden wedding.
