The head of the Chechen Republic staged a Grand celebration to congratulate the residents of Grozny. The city hosted a major concert, which was attended by many celebrities. Leading the event were Nikolai Baskov and Igor Vernik.

On 5 October, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, took a walk on his birthday. He was 41 years old.
