Music contest next year in jeopardy.

It became known that Netta Barzilai unable to deny the victory on “Eurovision-2018”, this means that the holding of the song contest in Israel is in jeopardy. The representatives of the record company Universal Music accused the net plagiarism. In their opinion, the song “Toy”, which brought Barzilai victory in the musical contest, has obvious similarities with the song of the White Stripes ‘ “Seven Nation Army”.

The contest rules stipulate that participants must perform only original compositions. So, if Universal Music sues us in court and prove that the composition Barzilai — plagiarism, it will be deprived of the title of the winner.

The holding of Eurovision in Israel earlier was accompanied by another scandal. In fact, the European broadcasting Union has addressed to organizers with a request to change the city of the competition. First it was announced that the contest will be held in Jerusalem, however, this territory is disputed for political reasons. The organizers of Eurovision refused to change the city in holding large-scale music events.
