Her 43 years, mother of two sons, the youngest of whom is only a year and a half, lives and works in his native Bucharest. Since she starred in the cult film “Maria, Mirabela”, Medea had virtually no contact with his on-screen sister, who plays Mary – Gilda Manolescu. Almost immediately after the shooting of 6-year-old Gilda along with her mother went to Germany. Acting decided not to continue, and began to study at the ballet school of his own mother. Because of the numerous fractures Gilda could no longer do ballet, she was depressed, she suffered severe pain and was taking many drugs. Later, the woman moved to Berlin, found work as a florist. But then it happened a new problem – the ex-convict kidnapped her and raped for three days. The consequences of the incident she has not been able to survive.

“She went outside and wanted to go home. Beside her car stopped, she rushed the man, burst out of the spray her in the face, blinded, kidnapped her, and then within three days she was raped by a repeat offender who just got released from prison… It was awful. Health Gilda was broken. She died from kidney failure,” said the mother of the actress.
