Beginning in February of this year shooting the eighth “Star wars” is actively continuing.

On his page on the social network, the project Director Rian Johnson has released the first footage from the set.

As previously promised, the plot of “Star wars: the force awakens” is kept strictly secret, because that’s what shown in the photo and what relates to what, fans of the franchise, we can only guess.

Note that the start process of filming a new series a little late for unexplained reasons. The project was supposed to start in January. These changes also entailed the postponement of the release of the new film – from may 2017 to December of the same year.

The Disney Studio head Robert iger assured that the company in the filming of the new series in the franchise will follow a simple strategy: don’t lose sight of what makes people buy tickets and thematic products: “there is No better way to promote this franchise in the future than the production of quality products”.

Iger also added that so far are shooting the eighth episode of the Saga, the writers carefully study the next part of the story.

Is also preparing to release a spin-off of “Star wars” — “Star wars: Rogue”. The plot of the film will unfold before the events of “a New hope” (but after the events of Revenge of the Sith), the main characters will be resistance fighters, who join forces to accomplish the mission to steal the blueprints of the death Star.
