Olga Toktarev, Director of the local House of culture and artistic Director of the participants of “Eurovision”, told about the life of stars of folk music after creating a new team. Now the famous actress performing under the name “the Grandmothers from Buranovo”.

Two years ago the media reported that the famous “Buranovskiye grandmothers”, who took second place on “Eurovision” in 2012, plan to replace other singers. Journalists wrote that the artists producer Ksenia Rubtsova going to assemble a new team. Recently, reporters contacted the participant of the folklore group Olga Tuktarova told about changes in the lives of music stars.

Olga reported that the natives of Malopurginskoe region of Udmurtia, won the international song contest, now perform under the name “Grannies from Buranovo”. Because of their age women prefer not to travel long distances. Now they mostly speak in his native country. But sometimes artists do happen traveling to other cities or even countries. So, the music star was in Moscow and Finland. “So don’t think we’re doing good,” shared Toktarev.

According to the soloist of the folk group, even grandma glad to no longer work with the producer. Older women think that now they have more freedom.

“The contract with the ensemble “Buranovskie grandmother” and the producer Xenia Scar, we ended. Had a very busy schedule, but we all have families, children, grandchildren, garden. Where we so get to work!.. Now we sing their songs, and not those which we impose. But the repertoire and performances we particularly didn’t like. But offense to anybody left,” – said Olga.

By the way, not so long ago, “Grannies from Buranovo” has released a new video for the track “Motherland”, created in conjunction with the project “Ekonika”. An elderly woman was busy writing lyrics and music over to it the work of the producer Vlad Horak. It was reported that work on the video, which was filmed in different regions of Udmurtia, was three months.

It is noteworthy that simultaneously with the stars of “Eurovision” video was presented and the new “Buranovskiye grandmothers”.
