One of the participants of the “New idol” has become 22-year-old daughter of Viktor Saltykov Anna moon. The girl who a long time lived in London and studied at the prestigious British University, I decided to try their hand in the project. Anna chose to use a pseudonym, concealing the relationship with well-known performer. “StarHit” asked the aspiring singer why she sent a request to audition and how its activities are close.

Anya, why did you decide to go for the project “New Factory of stars”?
To the casting I came quite by accident. I wrote a friend who saw my music video and asked, “Hey, MUZ-TV is casting a “New idol”, do you want to go?” Then I just came home from England and didn’t know what to do next. I thought, “Well, that’s a sign of destiny, I’ll do it myself why not.” And went. And passed. To be honest, I didn’t expect. Went there for a complete “chill out”. You know, people dream, dream, ready, and I went, not thinking particularly about this… somewhere on a subconscious level, I had the inner confidence that I get, although I was not too bothered by the outcome of the casting. Although I’m really glad I ended up here… I went with a clear goal, that I’m not going just to sing a duet with the stars and show their creativity.—
How did you feel during the casting?
I was worried just at the moment when it was inside and went on stage. Before the first note I have all the time something changes inside and I can’t seem to calm himself, but then everything comes back to normal. I’m not worried, though the atmosphere was, of course, contributed to this: everyone was worried and discussed what song to sing… Then I met immediately with some of the guys that ended up with me on the project. With Elman and Martha we met in the corridor, and Guzel too. She was very worried. I tried to reassure her: “Yes that you are soared? Don’t worry.” It’s the only phrase I told her. I continue to communicate with the guys, we became friends because of rehearsals and fees that were conducted before the first reporting concert… by the Way, with me casting was still Dylan. As soon as I saw it, I thought: “It’s anyone pass.” He was so funny, I hadn’t even heard him sing, but his image and character… I thought he is a very interesting, charismatic.—
Not afraid to live under a sight of cameras when watching you the whole country?
As a child I was a fan of “American idol”, saw every episode. Of course, I wanted to try the project! According to my calculations I was supposed to be a party of the seventeenth season, but unfortunately the program was closed. After launched the “New Factory of stars”, I can say that my dream has come true. In fact, when you watch the show on TV, don’t you think that it is so difficult. You think, “Well, and that they settled in the house, there are fed, watered, all is well.” Actually, that’s really tough — mentally and psychologically, because you’re living with strangers and you don’t get time to relax.

You are constantly doing something?
I don’t even have time to sleep a couple of hours and browse the phone — took it all. We are constantly going to different classes. We Wake up and immediately go to the gym. While there are thoughts like: “God, am I here? Why? And why I work out at 9 am?”. After intense physical exertion we got a little break for Breakfast, and then we have rehearsals, master classes, vocal lessons… actually, this is all very interesting, but hard. Sometimes I want to go home and think, “God, I want to lie in bed and do nothing”. —
Do you easily agree with other people?
Yes, I lived in a hostel when I was in London. So I’m used to, but there are guys who are very hard to force, for example, age. Girls who are 14-17 years old, crying and worried. —
What challenges have you faced in the star house?
The feeling that you live in a Studio. For me light is the worst because it’s everywhere from 9 am to 23 PM, even in the bathroom and the bedroom. Of course, at first these moments is very annoying, but you get used to… overall, the standard of living in the house, of course, amazing, we cook, and the girls even do a manicure. Besides us, there are still 40 people — operators and those who are watching us.

Do you have any rules?
About them, reports the voice from outside. For example, the other day we girls came up with a genius idea: “Why are we going to say? Let’s be each other to write. Still nothing to be seen”. But we said, “Girls, you are breaking the rules. You could get expelled for this.” In General, all strictly. But very interesting.—
You’re the one writing the music and lyrics?
Yes… Thanks to the project I met with those who like the same things as me. It is very difficult to find like-minded people, because I have a specific taste — that, you know, samojedny, “alternative”. I can’t call myself a big fan of pop music. So for me it was, incidentally, a problem to sing a duet with Anna Sedokova. Just because it’s generally not my thing. Remember Viktor Drobysh said to me: “Well, you did not change. You can also put a part of himself. And the more you develop outside your comfort zone”. After the concert I realized that I agree with him. —
Victor Drobysh somehow helps them?
It is very intelligently selects songs to all the participants, which, in principle, fit them more or less in style. For example, I sang with the group “Factory”, and for Anna Sedokova, in this case, was a nice lyrical song… I even looked at it from the other side. Actually, I really liked Anna. She was with me was very friendly and even, as I said, put something from the concert in “Instagram”. —
How all began with the passion for music? It is clear that you come from a creative family, but not all follow in the footsteps of their parents.
I was fond of music since childhood. We can say that it surrounded me everywhere, and it was in my blood… Started singing when I was brought into some drama. I didn’t really want to do, but in the end, everything somehow got delayed. But then, when the time came to choose a University, I suddenly decided to study fashion in England. —
However, you still decided to go back to the music…
I studied there for a year and devoted time to his passion. There was a time when I am fully immersed in the fashion world, which seemed so ephemeral, interesting… But I didn’t have enough time to just pick up the guitar. Only then did I realize how much I miss what I used to do. In the end, I decided that life is one, and I’d rather go in the footsteps of parents, enrolling in another University. My father strongly supported. He did not understand my fascination with fashion and were skeptical, but chose not to go against her daughter. —
Do you regret it?
No, when I started studying at the music University, I was among musicians, it inspires. You start to think about what an artist… I believe that they are only in the beginning. I wonder to stick to their guns and not to perform other people’s songs. I would like to create your own little world and make it cool. —
Ever since dad found out you passed the audition, he gave you some advice?
He didn’t know what I’m going to the audition because I didn’t take it so seriously. Then, when I was called and told everything. Dad was very happy, even, it seems, more than I… Before the project I have a couple of days was pens over the fact that I was “locked up” in some kind of framework. Then I wanted to get out. But dad said, “No, you have to go because it’s not a program where you just eat, like in a billion other gear, and this is a project where you are in this industry. And when you’re not the only one, and you have these 16 people”. He was not wrong… I thought I was the only one, and no one will understand me, and in fact the project was very many people, and it’s nice.

Easy was given to you returning to Moscow?
Actually, no. When I moved to London I was sure that he was leaving for a lifetime. For some reason I never felt comfortable in the Russian musical and creative environment. It seemed to me that there are better, it’s a child’s view of the world. You can see a beautiful picture you say: “I want it that way, not here”… I came back not because I have something failed. I had decided to achieve something here and then abroad. —
And how much time you spent in England?
Four years. When I got there, it was very easy to adapt, because I dreamed this dream for two years. My parents were against the move. But of course, I persuaded my mother, so she paid me a tutor, but dad strongly objected. Therefore, we do not dedicated and then, when I did put it before the fact. As he is a very kind person, loyal, don’t become discouraged. —
What was the subject you had a tutor?
In English, it was necessary to pass a serious test. When I moved there, I lived the first two and a half years in complete euphoria, I loved it all. I have every day was like a movie. And then, in the last year have greatly increased, I think inside. I started to look at things differently and realized that nothing did not create itself, did. And when I started work, I had a great desire to do something for people who speak Russian and share my views on the world. that same mentality as I do. You’ve got an unusual name?
I didn’t want to hide the name, although for casting, this will also be a factor to be evaluated objectively. I originally wanted to have some kind of alias, so I had a brand that I could develop. I had a dream like my friend said, “And you identify yourself as a star”. I woke up, it was night, looked at the moon. Idea I drew a parallel and wrote my name, Anna, English. I liked the symmetry, because the two “n’s” and two “on”. In Russian I like it when written by Anya moon. —
Are you comfortable with this name?
I’m just not the most confident person. Sometimes. And I still was afraid at first, but when I’m here at the “Factory”, everyone started to call Anna moon, I’m a bit tired of it all. From the moment I started a new life. I think that everything is all right.
