You have on the desktop a lot of important notes, dear photo small format and just pleasant things, but you don’t know how to make it all stylish and budget in the same style? We propose to do this with a simple and minimalistic stands under pictures and records made from wooden blocks. There is nothing complicated!

Materials and tools:

• wooden blocks of arbitrary size (possibly left over from your other works);
• paint-spray (you can use gold, copper, silver);
• primer for wood (optional);
• masking or other paper tape;
• small wooden clothespins (easy to find in stores for needlework);
• a reliable adhesive (e.g., melt).

First step is to prepare the wooden blocks for painting: cleaned, sanded, and partially primed, if necessary.

If you want to get a straight line when painting, don’t forget to stick masking tape so as not to paint over the excess.

Tip: you don’t have to paint the workpiece as shown in the photo. Why is stripes not to draw circles, for example? Pay attention to the color version of this same stand!

Apply the paint and wait until it is completely dry. To the reverse side of the workpiece discreetly glue the wooden clothespin — it will keep your photo.
