Participant of the show “the Voice” David Todua gave an interview to the news portal “StarHit”, where he spoke about the problems with the eyes and about his personal life. The singer told how he met his sweetheart and as took her away from the group.

The singer has long been suffering from an eye disease, but admitted that lately noticed progress in treatment. “Unfortunately, problems with vision as they were, and still are. I have a detached retina. Operations for more than twenty. Now the treatment is good, even some improvement. However, limitations are also present – I’m not allowed physical activity. My eye need rest and constant monitoring inside of eye pressure,” admits David.

In addition to faith in doctors, the singer believes in God. “I am an Orthodox man, with a deep conviction that there is a God in this world, so of course I go to Church and pray”, says the artist.

In life Todua, in addition to faith, supported by his wife who engaged in a lot of cases. “My wife is my rock. Does everything from the cooking to the “blind auditions” and rehearsals to monitoring of some important points. She teaches voice, so understands what’s going on,” says David.

Todua admitted that four years ago, having become acquainted with his future wife, took her from the collective, which itself had produced. According to David, a couple happy in their family life. “We often gather our friends and loved ones at home – cover for their table. Love to please: say nice words, we buy things and gifts”, says the “StarHit” singer.

The family of the artist is quite creative. He likes to read and enjoys history, and his wife sings and draws. Familiarity with the show “the Voice,” David began a long time ago and even personally acquainted with the winner of last season, Daria Antonyuk. As David told reporters about fears he is going before going to the jury. “I’ll be honest: the most difficult challenge on the project was the feeling of the exam. Never loved, though always very well attended. There comes some anxiety that must be fought and overcome,” summed up David Todua.
