The picture of Russian Director was included in the long list of nominees for the prestigious award.

Andrei Konchalovsky received another gift for his 80th anniversary. The painting “Paradise” by Russian Director got in long-sheet of the 30th European film Academy award. Just this list includes 51 films from 31 countries.

After a while, after the vote among the three thousand members of the Academy will form the shortlist. Award nominees in the categories “Best European film, Best European Director, Best European screenwriter, Best European actor and Best European actress” will be announced in November at the festival in Seville. And on the 9th of July in Berlin will announce the winners of the 30th awards ceremony of the European film Academy.

Konchalovsky found out about another achievement of “child” in Italy. When he was informed about the inclusion of “Paradise” in the long list of the prestigious prize, there he was preparing to shoot a new film about Michelangelo.

The picture of the Russian-German
the production tells the story of the people, by the will of fate encountered during the terrible
war. In this story infused three fates — Russian emigrant Olga,
aristocrat, member of the French Resistance, the French collaborators
Jules and German Helmut, a high-ranking SS officer. The world premiere
on 8 September 2016, since the film was marked by a number of
prestigious awards, among them: “silver lion” Venice film festival for best Director, three “Golden eagle”, three Nicks and many others.
