The names of Keanu Reeves and Richard Gere we associate exclusively with hit Hollywood projects, but, alas, new work both actors are clearly not among their main achievements. The British press reported that fresh tape featuring the two stars set record last weekend. The film “Daughter of God” (Exposed), which starred Reeves, made a first weekend total of 88 pounds (and it is a little less than $ 125), but the tape is “Frannie” (The Benefactor) and Richard Gere started and sadder – having collected only 25 pounds (35 dollars) for the weekend.

“Daughter of God” has called the biggest failure Keanu Reeves, whose last commercially successful film was “John Wick” 2014. Now the actor, by the way, starred in the sequel of the picture – which I hope will be equally popular.

In “Daughters of God” Reeves co-starred with Mira Sorvino and Cuban hottie Ana de Armas. However, neither the names of the stars, nor the attractiveness of the main character it’s not saved: according to critics, the script was too weak and in no way singled out the film among many other detective stories, and the audience a picture called frankly boring.

As for drama “Franny”, the cast of star names at least (except for Gere participated in the project Dakota fanning and Theo James) – and also a complete failure. Perhaps the film just wasn’t advertised enough, because despite such modest fees for the first weekend in England, on the Internet about it there are a lot of positive feedback.
