Tippi Hedren has suffered at the hands of the Director

The great master of thrillers Alfred Hitchcock
always had a reputation as a lover of women. But that said Tippi Hedren, mother
actress Melanie Griffith, who became in due time a star of the famous film “the Birds”,
surprised even those who knew the Director. This story became known
thanks to the recent publication in the New York Post excerpt
of the yet unpublished memoirs of an actress.

Only now, 40 years after
the events described above, Tippy decided to tell about how he behaved with her life. ”

These scenes were repeated again and again, and by the end of the work on the project Tippy came almost to a state
a nervous breakdown, so she had examined at the request of her doctor
a few days to interrupt shooting.

Alfred harassment continued during
next movie “Marnie” where she had again to be removed from Hitchcock,
because she had the temerity even before the start of work on the “Bird” sign
a contract with the Studio. This time Alfred went even further. At his request, was
built an additional door through which to enter her dressing room
from his office. And one day he appeared. Neither saying a word, he grabbed the actress and
knocked her to her knees. And the more violently she struggled, the more aggressive he attacked her…
She barely waited until the end of filming and refused to continue working with
Hitchcock, though suffered due to breach of contract a large financial loss, and
her future career was virtually destroyed…
