In St. Petersburg took place the solemn ceremony I Music Awards film and television “Aurora”. This film evening, guests witnessed a unique event aimed at improving the quality of music domestic films and increasing the number of musical films.

Honorary guests of the award are: President of the “Aurora”, the composer Maxim Dunaevsky, the Director of the ceremony, Yuri Galtsev, actors Mikhail Boyarsky, Boris Smolkin, Simon Furman, Elena Herz, a composer Evgenie Doga, Victor Lebedev, Dmitry Kizeev, artists Igor Kornelyuk, Yulia Mikhalchik, and many others.

The program of the concert included well-known box office hits. Evgeniy Doga performed on a piano waltz from film “My tender and gentle beast”, Mikhail Boyarsky sang the famous “Dove” from “midshipmen, forward!”, ensemble “Olympic Brass” introduced the musical theme of the Prize waltz Vladimir Komarov “Viva!” from the movie “sons of Bitches”, Mariam Merabova and Georgy Yufa sang “Wind of change” Maxim Dunaevsky from “Mary Poppins,” Anastasia Kipin – “Tenderness” by Alexandra Pakhmutova from the film “Three poplars at Plyushchikha”, Vladimir Peteris – “Ray of sunshine” by Gennady Gladkov from “the Bremen musicians”. The announcement of the nominations and performances were interspersed with video of the iconic composers, as well as edited into the detailed shots and film clips.

The ceremony did not forget about Olga Buzova. People’s artist of Russia Mikhail Boyarsky invited the singer to use his talent in the film industry.

“Directors and actors have a huge amount of help: because when the movie was written good, quality music — a hint for any image, – explained Mikhail Boyarsky. I’m very lucky that I worked with such wonderful composers as Maxim Dunaevsky, Gennady Gladkov, Victor Lebedev… It’s incredible! You fall in love, when a smooth touch to the keys.
