Oleg Menshikov decided to surprise the audience – in the framework of the project “Movies on stage” in the Theater. M. N. Yermolova celebrity read the screenplay of “Elusive Avengers”. Two of the famous Saga about the adventures of four young guerrillas announced the stars of the Russian scene. One of the main intrigue of the evening, as always, has been the distribution of roles between the cast.

Oleg Menshikov was reading the text “from the author”, the main role was Alexander Petrov (Danka), Daria Melnikova (Ksanka), Gregory siyatwinda (Yashka-Tsygan) and Mitya Labush (Valery). Also appeared on the stage, Mikhail Efremov, Yuri Stoyanov, Anna Ardova, Tigran Keosayan, Sergei Burunov Sergei Bedecken, Oleg Filipchik, Philip Ershov and Sergei Kempo.

“I don’t know why all this came from… what is happening now backstage before the show, crazy house! But most importantly, it creates some kind of proper atmosphere, and it is in the best sense of the word hooliganism. Creative, but hooliganism. This is what is missing in the theater. This game goes nature of it, although it must exist and prevail. The choice fell on the “Elusive Avengers”, because it is the picture of adolescence and youth of my generation. This – in a good way – our Western, filmed by all the laws of the adventure genre with the spirit of adventure,” – said artistic Director Oleg Menshikov.

Special guest of the project was Sergei Shnurov, which debuted on the theatrical stage and performed the role of an artist Buba Kastorsky. Hall applause greeted his incendiary verses, and before the dance even with the balcony shouted: “Buba, burn!” He stepped into the role of Odessa kupletistom and Joker, Yuri Stoyanov, who played the role of a white Colonel Kudasov, could not at first “shot” to stop him and loyalty to “made test”.

Another hit was the performance by Grigory Siyatvinda Gypsy romance to the accompaniment of acoustic guitar Stoyanov. And of course the famous “Pursuit”, several times performed by all actors for an encore.

This evening transformed even the lobby of the theater, which created an atmosphere of Civil war. Guests seemed to be in the Kuban village with live chickens, dog, carts, apples and cider. For wooden tables sat the peasants, and daring accordionist played the famous folk song. In the adjacent foyer has been recreated eerie atmosphere of the night graveyard, where there are “dead with braids”.

Tigran Keosayan familiar with the “Elusive Avengers” is not hearsay, after all, a trilogy about the red devils took his father, a famous Soviet film Director Edmond Keosayan in the 60-ies, and, as said by Tigran, during the filming passed away. “For me it’s a huge gamble, because I’m not an actor and was willing to do any role. I am grateful to Oleg Menshikov for the fact that he started this adventure. I even before the performance was sure that it would be “bully”, otherwise can not be. And, of course, I am very pleased that today the “Movie on stage” – based on the film my father, in memory of him,” – said Keosayan.
