Prolonged rain which weather forecasters promised a in Sochi with the
the beginning of the 28-th open Russian festival “Kinotavr” began exactly 10
minutes before the announcement of the winners of the competition “Kinotavr. Short meter”. However,
bad weather (despite the fact that the ceremony took place outdoors) are not
prevented a festive mood and the contestants and jury members, among which
this year was Marina Aleksandrova.

As the program of short films ends just at the “equator”
festival, Alexandrov is with great pleasure handed over the baton to his
friend Yulia Peresild, which this year is part of the jury the main
competition program and will continue to operate daily until
the closing ceremony of “Kinotavr”.

The absolute winner of the competition of short films was
Director Ruslan Bratov with the movie “LALA-BALALA”. On account of his ultimate prize,
special prize of the program “Is a movie” and a special prize to the shooting
a short film for the anthology “From A” certificate from the partners of the festival
1 million rubles.

Other prizes were distributed as follows: jury diploma “For
the poetic tone of the film” — a film “the First”, the Director of Lado Catania; special
jury mention “For precise realization of the plan” — the movie “Milk”, directed by Daria
Vlasova; diploma Guild of film critics of Russia “For art
Surah transformation of reality into surrealism in art” — the film “Milk”
Director Daria Vlasova and diploma Guild of film critics of Russia “For
the art of resuscitation in movies and in life” — movie “a Time to live, time to die”
