On
recently, Madonna attended the opening of a unique hospital in Malawi.
Funds for the construction of the building and its equipment was almost entirely
assembled by the singer through her Foundation, “Raising Malavi”. In
thanks for that, Madonna was allowed to give the new facility a “name”,
what she wants. And the singer called it after his eldest foster
daughter — “Center for pediatric surgery and
intensive care mercy James.” Recall that in addition to 11-year-old mercy, Madonna
has three children: 11-year-old David and recently
adopted her 4-year-old twins, Esther and Stella.

“I
Malawi eternally grateful for the happiness she gave me my
children. For me it is very important that they do not lose touch with their own
country. And I wanted to show them that the goodwill of people do
can make a difference in this world!” — said the singer.

Opening
the new centre, and in fact, was a great event for Malawi — one of the
poorest countries in the world. After all, 50% of its population under the age of 15, and to the opening of this
center in the entire state there were only 3 children’s surgeon! Now, not only
