The famous Director was once again in the center of the scandal. On the website of the Investigative Committee has information that Kirill Serebrennikov going to press charges in the organization of embezzlement in especially large size. 
Representatives of the Investigative Committee announced the arrest of the Director and artistic Director of “Gogol-center” Kirill Serebrennikov. Culture and art are suspected of fraud in especially large size.
According to investigators, Serebrennikov organized the theft of at least 68 million rubles allocated in 2011-2014 for the project “Platform”.

“It (The Government – Ed.) constitutes a result under part 4 of article 159 of the criminal code of Russian Federation – swindle in especially large size. The investigation intends to show Kirill Serebrennikov accusation in Commission of the specified crime, and also to solve the issue of election of a measure of restraint”, – is written on the website of the UK.
In the near future investigators will begin questioning Serebrennikov.
Later, the Director’s lawyer Dmitry Kharitonov told reporters that his client was detained in St. Petersburg. There Kirill Serebrennikov shooting a new film about Victor Tsoy called “Summer”. In the work on the painting also involved the journalist and writer Michael Idov. He was very surprised by the information about the impending indictment Serebrennikov. “Oh, God!?!” – said the journalist on the page in “Facebook”.

Many colleagues directed publicly supported him and spoke in defense of the artist. The event, which was held by the representatives of the investigation, was associated with the case of embezzlement of funds from the state budget based Director of the nonprofit organization “the Seventh Studio”. Now in this case, three accused – former Director of the “Gogol-center” Alexei Malopolska, as well as former accountant and the General Director “the Seventh Studio” – Nina Masliaev and Yuri Itin.
Pieces of silver later publicly addressed the public and thanked the caring people for support. The man said he moved the attentions from everyone who was worried about his fate.
