14 October in the capital held a Grand carnival procession of delegates to the all-Russian festival of youth and students in 2017. In a mass parade was attended by students from all corners of the planet. Participants followed the route eight kilometres from the area of Vasilevsky descent to the sports complex “Luzhniki”, where the procession ended with a gala concert stars of the channel “Music First”.
In an hours-long music marathon came on the scene, VIA Gra, Yulianna Karaulova, 5sta Family, Timur Rodriguez, Bianca, ESTRADARADA, MBAND, Friends, Marie, Cranberry and many others. The concert ended with a spirited DJ set from Swanky Tunes.
Fans were happy to see young artists and singing their songs. The musicians admitted that they felt an indescribable atmosphere that prevailed at the site.
However, all those who were in other cities and could not be present in the capital, could follow what was happening at the concert. The live broadcast of the speeches of the celebrities in “Luzhniki” can be seen live all over the world and to join the most important event of the year from the comfort of home.
XIX world festival of youth and students takes place from 14 to 22 October in Sochi and gathered 20,000 young professionals in different spheres ranging in age from 18 to 35 years from more than 180 countries.
For the first time ever in a Grand youth festival will involve the whole country. Also 2000 foreign participants in the first three days of the festival will visit 15 Russian regions from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok.
