Джамала жестко ответила на критику Константина Меладзе

The famous Ukrainian composer Konstantin Meladze harshly criticized the performance of the group O. Torvald, who took only 24 at the international musical contest Eurovision, which ended last Sunday with the victory of the Portuguese singer. Meladze took part in the selection of the contestants-representatives of their country as members of the jury, and it seemed to him that the blame for the loss of Ukraine and lies on it.

He had not seen in group O. Torvald were worthy of the competition, they were the only rock band, and, in particular, differed from all other participants worthy candidate and vote for another artist.
“All at once it became clear that it would fail. It’s not the genre that can claim at least getting into the top twenty,” said Constantine.
But Jamal, who represented his country last year and brought the Eurovision song contest in Kyiv, strongly disagree with this statement.
“I absolutely do not agree that the jury of the National selection needs to apologize for his choice, and personally I would not going to apologize. The collective score from the jury coincided with the point that O. Torvald has received the results of the audience voting, that is, the jury and the audience voted for this party together,” said Jamal, and added that the results of “Eurovision is difficult to foresee or predict, and the performance of parties she liked.
“O. Torvald were worthy of the competition, they were the only rock band, and, in particular, differed from all other participants,” said Jamal and congratulated frontman Eugene Galicia with excellent performance.
