Press Secretary of Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov reminded the representatives of Ukraine on the rules of the contest. Earlier in a press there was an information that host Eurovision next year the country will filter the participants from Russia.

Last Saturday in Stockholm was held the final of “Eurovision”. The victory was won by the representative of Ukraine Jamala with a song “1944” about the deportation of Crimean Tatars from the Crimea Peninsula in the postwar period. Russian artist Sergey Lazarev with the song “You Are the Only One” took only third place, although the final he was the clear leader.

Next year, thanks to the triumph of Jamala, international music competition will take place in Ukraine. The country chooses the city that will open its arms of talented performers and collectives. Among the most likely options appear while Kiev and Odessa. However, representatives of the Ukrainian government to discuss not only this issue. So, one of the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada suggested that on “the Eurovision-2017” for political reasons will be able to get not every representative of our country.

In order to eliminate such judgments, press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov has expressed opinion of the Kremlin about the possibility of “filtering” of our participants.

Eurovision is an international contest, and the receiving party must follow the rules of “Eurovision”. All the rest is their competence”, – said Peskov.

Interestingly, in Russia, skeptical of the fans of the show suggests that from our country at all, maybe nobody will go to Ukraine.
