You’ve probably seen the giant chess that you can play in the Park or at the cottage. So you can combine mental and physical activity. But to make such chess with your hands very difficult, but to make a huge Domino without problems. This is what we propose to do.
Materials and tools for the manufacture of dominoes:
- fairly wide boards (depending on how large the tile you want to produce)
- dark stain
- white paint
- paint brush
- circular saw
- grinder
How to make dominoes
Prepare the required number of boards. The length of each dominoes should be twice the width of the Board. Such bones should be 28 pieces.
Sawed timber at the same rectangles. With the help of grinders where you want to locate all the faces.
Apply wood stain. If they turned out not dark enough, stain can be applied repeatedly. Allow the stain to dry.
After a strip of white paint, split each bone into two halves.
Make marks on the bone:
- double zero, and then 0/1 to 0/6
- two units, and then from 1/2 to 1/6
- two deuces, and then from 2/3 to 2/6
- two threes, and then 3/4 to 3/6
- two fours, and then 4/5 and 4/6
- two fives and 5/6
- two sixes.
Allow paint to dry. Giant dominoes ready. You can go outside and play with friends.
