In Yalta ended the II international film festival
“Eurasian bridge”. During the five days of the festival the audience saw 29 movies from
8 countries.

The closing ceremony was held in the Yalta theatre
A. P. Chekhov. On the red carpet were Irina Medvedeva,
Vyacheslav Manucharov, Ekaterina Volkova, Evelina Bledans, Anna Banshchikova,
Ekaterina Spout, Olesya Sudzilovskaya, Nikita Mikhalkov.

Opening the ceremony, the President of the festival
Victor Merezhko said: “the Most important thing that such a film festival is —
it is a fait accompli. It is important that the jury foreign guests who are not
afraid to go to the Crimea. I think they will carry with them in their countries experiences and
the grateful memory of Yalta and the festival, tell me, how do we live well here”.

Leading the first part of the closing ceremony was
actress Irina Medvedev, then it was replaced by actor and TV presenter Vyacheslav Manucharov and actress Ekaterina Volkova.

Jury Chairman Gareth Jones before
the announcement of the winners noted that the paintings with two
continents did not leave the jury indifferent. “The East was
from China, the West of France, and numerous paintings in the middle. It
it clearly reflects the name of the festival – he is the bridge, and very
it is right that he is in the Crimea. Selected paintings were so good
that none of them had to remain without a prize. We came to a unanimous
decision, and you are very pleased with the jury”, he said.

Prizes of the festival were awarded under
competitions of feature and documentary films. The program of feature films was
included 8 paintings from Russia, Kazakhstan, France, Greece, Bulgaria, Italy,
Switzerland, China. In the documentary competition was also 8 films from
Russia, India, Germany, Finland, Poland, Bulgaria, Italy, Armenia.
