Iveta Mukuchyan studied fashion design in Germany. She left the German Academy of design to get a musical education at the Conservatory in Yerevan. “I returned home on the advice of my mother,” says Iveta. – And don’t regret it. In Germany I lacked warmth and openness characteristic of the Armenians.” Regardless of the outcome of “Eurovision” Iveta plans to continue to make a career of the singer in Armenia under the pseudonym IVA La Diva. But the competition goes under his own name.
“I haven’t earned the right to be called a Diva,” jokes the singer. Despite his busy schedule, every spring and fall she goes to Germany to take part in fashion shows as a model and to help his sister, which creates a collection of handmade accessories. “The day will come when I will be back to design,” says Iveta. – But while I have other goals: for example, to raise the standard of pop music in Armenia. And, of course, find love. In Germany I dated a guy from the Armenian Diaspora, but he was a terrible traditionalist and didn’t want his girl was on the stage”.

“Music has always been the meaning of life,” he says. – But my parents wanted me to have a real profession, so I went to medical school. On the day of delivery of diplomas I told them that now they are going for diversity to do what I wonder.” Amir argues that success in “the Voice” took him by surprise: “I wouldn’t dream of it. Just wanted to sing. I swear I would be happy if I could earn money by singing at Jewish weddings, bar mitzvahs and funerals”.
