Sophia Avraamovna, you have a difference with a sister nine years. What age start your lucid memories of pre-war life, sister?

Actually, I remember the nurse, as I can remember, and specific points — two years. Our mother and father — Esther Isaakovna and Abraham p. — the best decision of our sister fates. They were noble, positive people and great parents. Gave both of us the moral basis for life. And from the beginning has taught us the importance of family unity. Remember, if they are in the evenings, go anywhere, leave my sister alone. Here Elina puts me to sleep, stories one after another said, and I do not fall asleep, consider wall rug with a picture of “red riding hood”. Then Elina said, “Look, if I close my eyes, once the wolf is coming!” And once she fell asleep next to me, and I’m still not sleeping, got scared, cried…

Of course, sister to babysit me. After all, she was already big. She has her own friends, their games, classes. But the parents didn’t turn her into a babysitter. Mother before the war worked. Dad was a doctor. Shortly before the war he was sent to a new job and we are from Kiev went to Chernihiv, Nizhyn. We with Elina had a cousin, his mother was the sister of our mother.
