Actors Egor Beroev Andrei Merzlikin is not the first time meet in the frame on one project. A couple of years ago, they starred in the melodrama “Happiness is…“, and now — in military detective “to say Goodbye will not.” Moreover, Merzlikin got the role of commandant of the frontline town, but Beroeva — NKVD, which searches among the military and civilian population of the city of saboteurs and spies.

The film tells about little-known pages of the great Patriotic war — the defense of the city of Kalinin (now Tver). In the autumn of 1941, the war suddenly ended up like this Volga city and the citizens quickly formed a group
the people’s militia.

Interestingly, the shooting took place in those places, which tells the script — on the streets and quays of Tver and around the city.
