Today, June 14, at the age of 82 years died, popular Russian
film Director, actor, screenwriter and producer Stanislav Govorukhin.

His first film — a short film “the Pharmacist” — Stanislav took off in 1964, as a student of VGIK. And his last movie “the End of a great epoch” — the stories of Sergei Dovlatov from the book “Compromise” — was released in 2015.

1. “Vertical” (1967)

2. “The meeting place cannot be changed” (1979)

3. “Ten little Indians” (1987)

For the film adaptation of the famous novel of Agatha Christie Stanislav
retained its original title, “Ten little Indians”, and chose the first
most grim version of the story. It is known that the writer later
processed written her story: “the little Negro” in the title of the book for reasons of political correctness
turned into “little Indians”, and the finale has become more
optimistic.

The main roles Jennifer Lawrence invited a whole constellation of actors in the movie played by Vladimir Zeldin, Tatyana Drubich, Aleksei Zharkov, Lyudmila Maksakova, Mikhail Gluzsky, Alexander Abdulov, Aleksandr Kaidanovsky. The shooting took place in the Crimea, and the mansion of Mr. Owen became
the famous “swallow’s nest” — an architectural monument, located on a 40-meter cliff.
