In the main competition of the 69th International
Berlin film festival held the world premiere of the film “Dovlatov”. In
Berlin Russian painting was presented by the Director Alexey Herman-younger, and also
starring: Svetlana Khodchenkova, Daniel Kozlovsky, who was on
the red carpet was accompanied by his bride Olga Zueva, Elena Lyadova, and others.

The film
tells the story of several days in the life of the writer Sergei Dovlatov in Leningrad
the beginning of the 70s years before the emigration of his friend, the future Nobel-prize winner
prize — Joseph Brodsky. It’s the circle of paradoxical and ridiculous situations:
collision with crime, secular and literary life of Leningrad, Studio
Theater, music, poetry reading, craft journalist, a passionate desire to buy
for his daughter the doll that can’t get anywhere else. In a series of conflicts in life,
sometimes funny, sometimes poignant, we discover life slim,
brilliant, ironic person who chooses a creative way to
later to become one of the most popular Russian writers of the XX century.
