Contestant of “the Bachelor” Xenia Slaschova: “I can’t believe how I had the courage,”

“StarHit” decided to talk to Xenia Slideway and find out what difficulties she had to encounter, how are the opponents, and most importantly, what girl is going to conquer Alexey Vorobyov.

March 12, on TNT kicked off the most romantic project “the Bachelor”. Fight for the heart of the renowned musician, actor and Director Alexey Vorobiev gathered 25 girls, with different fate, character and unique beauty. After the first choice of bachelors in the project were 16 girls, one of which can move only in a wheelchair. “StarHit” decided to talk to Xenia Slideway and find out what difficulties she had to encounter, how are the opponents, and most importantly, what girl is going to conquer Alexey Vorobyov.

Xenia as part of the family react to the fact that you have decided to participate in a reality show? They are very worried that you will be alone, without close supervision?
My relatives were very happy that I passed in the project of such a high level. To them my decision to try their hand at this reality show was not a shock – they used to, I regularly take part in various competitions. My brother was really happy, and says now to all my friends that supported me. Native wish me luck, success, and, of course, prepare for victory. But I think I already won, if only because of the fact that decided to participate. But still can’t believe how I had the courage. —
In the second series you all came to Thailand. What was the feeling of this place, what most impressed?
In Thailand we live near the sea, of course, have to see different insects, moths, but I feel complete unity with nature and enjoying it. But I encounter some inconvenience in movement when we try to come closer to the sea, there’s hot and cold paving stones, lawns and slopes. I try to handle myself, but sometimes I ask girls to help me. They are happy to help me. We have a nice atmosphere, though now I can see that some of the participants got some kind of connection with each other, especially those who live in the same room. But there is a pronounced single. I’m anyone, especially not gravitate.

As the project has already begun some of the conflicts, rivalry erupted between the girls. For example, in the second series Alla accused Mary of not being honest. How do you react to this situation? Stopped trusting girls, less to talk about themselves, so it’s not turned against you?
It was a bold move by Alla. I think that this is something determined – it can, to attract the attention of Alex and, accordingly, to stand out against all others. I think this thing is not very beautiful, and without serious arguments, evidence act pretty stupid. But Mary behaved very worthy and it deserves respect. Of course, to the alley appeared as a daring girl who by all means tries to win a man. Here are the girls, in my opinion, usually take the men away from families. Bold, beautiful, sexy, attract attention, dangerous rival. Of course, to the alley I do not feel gentle feelings after this incident.—
And in what way you are trying to attract the attention of Alexei? What qualities are you proud of?
I’m trying to impress with his sincerity, openness. I try to be honest with Alex, and I love that he appreciates it. I am still me and not trying to play some roles. And I like that Alexey also behaves very naturally. I was afraid that it would be a lot of affectation, but now everything is absolutely sincere.

What qualities Alexis impressed you most? What traits to you most attractive?
This is a complex issue. In such a short time people are not fully disclosed. It’s hard to know really, we had a few meetings alone. But I liked that he was very gallant. Nowadays it is so wildly that I was even frightened that the man manifests himself as a gentleman. I was surprised that at the first acquaintance he got on one knee, so that our eyes were at the same level. In the second series, when we talked to him about the pool, I was nervous because I passed the first stage, begins the struggle. I don’t have much experience in front of the camera, I shook hands, I told him, and he jokingly responded. I immediately felt calm, and I felt a kindred spirit. —
How exciting it is the ceremony of roses? Not afraid to leave the project or you are confident in their abilities?
Most of all, I felt the jitters at the first ceremony. Perhaps it wasn’t so noticeable, but I was shaking, I even smile but could not because my facial muscles were stiff. But now I treat it differently – if the decision of Alexei, then let it be so. If he decides that I don’t pass on, so this is the argument, and he is right.

You said that mother is the best adviser, and with it you decided to make a gift to Alex at the first meeting. Now often do you talk? It gives some recommendation on how better to lead, to teach, maybe criticized for something?
Unfortunately, we have very little say with family, I usually report that I’m fine that I’m alive and well, I have created all the conditions to feel comfortable. Of course, it’s hard for me that had little contact with relatives, no free Internet, no books. Mostly we sit and talk with the girls, or I spend time alone with your thoughts. It is a pity that the series are so short, because it is impossible at this time to reveal the characters of all girls and to show that even happens. And I must say, I am pleased that mom on TV sees what really happens to us. In the program the information is not distorted. —
Now in social networks erupted a heated argument about your participation in the show. Someone fully supports that you have decided to participate and thereby set an example that can fight on equal terms with the others, and someone thinks that Alex more loyal to you than to other girls. What do you call this kind of talk?
Initially I expected it to be more negative. Was afraid I’d start talking in this way – why she came, what she is to him a couple of builds. But when I learned that a lot of people support, care about me, touched by my sincerity and kindness, I was pleasantly surprised that my participation in the show does it has made people a positive impression. I am very happy that he was on the show, and think that Alex pays attention to my inner qualities.
